Luca Antonelli set for AC Milan exit

Sport Mediaset has learned that AC Milan defender Luca Antonelli could soon be leaving San Siro.

The 30-year-old does not appear to be in the first team plans of head coach Vincenzo Montella and a January exit could be on the cards.

Antonelli only made two substitute appearances in the new Serie A campaign, while he wasn’t even included in the matchday squad for the game against AEK Athens.

This is enough to suggest that AC Milan plan to offload the full-back at the earliest opportunity despite the fact that he has another 20 months left on his contract.

Luca Antonelli, who had begun his career at San Siro, returned to the club in January 2015, and went on to make 49 league outings for the Rossoneri.
