Belgian giants Anderlecht have revealed that star midfielder Lucas Biglia will be available at a cut-back price in the summer transfer window.
Top European clubs have been lining up for the Argentine midfielder, but nobody seemed ready to match Anderlecht’s £8 million valuation of the player.
Liverpool and other interested sides will be happy to hear that Biglia can be purchased for just over £4 million in the summer transfer window.
“If we get 5.5million euros for Biglia during the next transfer window, we will be happy,” Anderlecht managing director Herman van Holsbeeck was quoted as saying in The Sun.
Biglia, 27, has a contract until June 2015 at Constant Vanden Stock, but it appears that the club chiefs are finally ready to allow him to leave the club.
The highly rated midfielder has spent last six and a half seasons at Anderlecht, making a total of 186 league appearances for the club.
According to The Sun, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Napoli and Fiorentina are all keen.
