Argentine midfielder Lucas Biglia could be leaving Lazio in the near future, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The highly rated footballer has another two years left on his contract at Stadio Olimpico, and he has now been offered a lucrative five-year deal worth €2.5 million per season.
Lazio clearly made quite an effort to keep hold of their star player, considering that the Argentine will turn 31 in January, but the midfielder appears to be edging closer to leaving the club.
Biglia is on the radar of quite a few top sides and having spent last three years at Stadio Olimpico, he seems to be looking forward to a new challenge.
The 30-year-old has so far made 84 Serie A appearances for the Biancocelesti, scoring 9 goals in the process, but he could be set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury at the weekend.
