Lucas Moura has decided to put an end to speculation regarding his future by making it clear he is perfectly happy at Parc des Princes.
The talented winger joined the Saints in a €40 million deal in January 2013, but he, nonetheless, needed to work hard to secure regular playing time.
And despite the arrival of Angel Di Maria, Lucas Moura appears to have finally nailed down a regular starting berth, having started seven of first nine league matches.
That is probably one of the reasons why the winger is satisfied with life in Paris and he has no intention of leaving the club any time soon.
“I love being in Paris. I want to make history. I feel that I can win the Champions League with PSG,” Moura told France Football.
“But, it is not just the club, but also life in Paris that is fantastic. That is why I want to stay here for a long time.”
With the likes of Javier Pastore, Edinson Cavani and Ezequiel Lavezzi his rivals for a starting berth, it is clear that Lucas Moura will have to continue the rich vein of form if he wants to keep his place in the side.
Since joining the club from Sao Paulo, the winger has scored 13 goals in 82 league appearances.
