Atletico Mineiro striker Lucas Pratto is interested in joining Europa League holders Sevilla, according to Estadio Deportivo.
It is no secret that los Rojiblancos plan to recruit a high-quality striker in the January window as their current options only include Luciano Vietto and Wissam Ben Yedder.
And after AS revealed that Atletico Mineiro star Lucas Pratto was one of Sevilla’s primary targets, Estadio Deportivo claims that the striker has set his sights on leaving his current employers and he would welcome the opportunity to join the La Liga outfit.
Following a disappointing spell at Genoa, the 28-year-old has kick-started his career in South America, impressing at both Velez Sarsfield and Atletico Mineiro.
Pratto has also played himself into the first team plans of new Argentina boss Edgardo Bauza and was surprisingly preferred to both Gonzalo Higuain and Sergio Aguero in the crucial 2018 World Cup qualifier against Colombia.
The striker paid the boss back by scoring the second goal for los Albicelestes, pouncing on a good cross by Lionel Messi.
