Real Madrid midfielder Lucas Silva will be joining FC Porto in the summer, according to journalist Francois Gallardo, who revealed the news in El Chiringuito TV programme.
The Brazilian footballer only joined los Blancos from Santos in January, but it appears he will be loaned to the Dragons to gain much needed regular playing time.
Francois Gallardo has revealed that Lucas Silva will be moving to Estadio do Dragao on a season-long loan in the summer.
“Lucas Silva will be transferred to FC Porto. Everything will take place just like in the Casemiro operation,” Gallardo said.
Brazilian midfielder Casemiro was also loaned to the Dragons last summer as he struggled for playing time at Santiago Bernabeu, and he has since been in scintillating form.
As a result, Carlo Ancelotti regards him an important member of the side for the 2015/2016 season, while he will in turn allow Lucas Silva to follow in his footsteps in Portugal.
The 22-year-old made six La Liga appearances since joining Real Madrid, while also starting the Champions League fixture against Schalke.
