La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira has a €25 million release clause in his contract.
The Uruguayan recently signed a new and improved deal until June 2022 as a reward for some impressive performances at Marassi.
It has now been revealed that a €25 million release clause was also inserted in the deal, which comes as no surprise given the heavy interest in his services.
Namely, the likes of Inter Milan, AC Milan, AS Roma and Sevilla are all keen on the 21-year-old footballer, who took to Serie A like duck to water.
After helping Pescara gain promotion to Serie A, Torreira went on to join Sampdoria a year ago and has since managed 41 Serie A appearances.
