Lucas Vazquez has turned down an offer to leave Real Madrid for Bayern Munich, according to Spox. Vazquez is out of contract at Madrid at the end of the season, and German and European giants Bayern reportedly want to secure his services on a free transfer this summer.
Bayern have made an offer to the 29-year-old left-back worth €6 million a year. However, Vazquez has turned it down as he wants to get €8 million a year as salary at his new club, if he leaves Madrid. The Spain international, who can also operate as a left-back, wants to ether extend his stay at Madrid or join AC Milan, according to Fichajes.
Vazquez has been on the books of Madrid his entire professional football and has won La Liga and the Champions League with Los Blancos. The 29-year-old is injured at the moment and will not play again this season.
