French winger Ludovic Giuly has made a switch to Monaco, the French club have announced on their website.
The former Barcelona player was a free agent since being released by Paris Saint-Germain earlier this summer.
After training with Monaco for over a month, the veteran winger has signed a two-year deal with the Ligue 2 side.
“I could not afford to leave AS Monaco like that, we will do everything to return to Ligue 1,” Giuly told club’s official website.
“We have all made an effort, I had confidence in the leaders and the long-term project of the club.”
The 35-year-old spent six and a half years at Monaco between 1998 and 2004, even reaching the Champions League final with the club before moving to Barcelona.
