Ludovic Guily targeted by PSG

Ludovic Giuly has not had a brilliant season by his high standards and could be tempted to move away from current club, AS Roma. The former Barcelona winger moved to Roma after first team opportunities were becoming increasingly scarce at Nou Camp. Luckily for him, he was given more playing time at his new club.

But now, clubs in France believe that they can bring the former AS Monaco hero back to his homeland and, according to l’Equipe, Paris Saint Germain are in pole position.

Paul Le Guen – PSG’s manager – is looking to reinforce the team’s right wing and he thinks that Giuly would fit the bill perfectly. By bringing the former Barcelona winger to PSG, Le Guen would reunite him with former team mate, Jerome Rothen, with whom Giuly struck a wonderful partnership while at AS Monaco.

One potential obstacle in the move might be the player’s salary. Giuly is paid €2 million per year at AS Roma and it is questionable whether PSG would be able to match that.
