New Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is heavily relying on Pedro Rodriguez, Catalan daily newspaper Sport has suggested.
The Spain international has been linked with a summer exit after struggling for regular playing time under Tata Martino, and he recently refused to commit his long-term future to the club.
Nevertheless, Sport has learned that new boss Luis Enrique sees Pedro as a key member of his squad and has informed the club officials the winger is not for sale.
Even if a number of first team regulars are expected to leave this summer, the Spain international seems set to remain at Camp Nou.
Pedro has developed into a key player for the Catalans shortly after breaking into the first team set-up and he has so far bagged 52 goals in 169 league appearances.
The 26-year-old is expected to star for Spain at the 2014 World Cup, where La Furia Roja are priced at 13/2 to win their fourth major tournament in a row.
