Brazilian media outlet O Globo has learned that former Sevilla star Luis Fabiano has decided to leave Sao Paulo at the end of the year.
The 34-year-old will be out of contract in December and the latest reports suggest he has already found a new club.
According to O Globo, Luis Fabiano has agreed to join Chinese second division side Tianjin Songjiang, coached by his compatriot Vanderlei Luxemburgo.
The move comes as a surprise considering that the veteran forward has been in great scoring form ever since he joined Sao Paulo from Sevilla some four and a half years ago.
Luis Fabiano has since made a total of 139 league appearances and scored impressive 68 goals in the process.
The experienced centre forward also boasts an enviable goalscoring record in the national team, having netted 24 times in 39 Brazil caps, scoring 3 goals in 5 matches at the 2010 World Cup.
