Luisao extends Benfica stay

Brazilian international defender Anderson Luis da Silva, better known as Luisao, has agreed to extend his contract with Portuguese side Benfica until 2013, the club confirmed on Monday.

The 28-year-old Benfica captain has played at the club since 2003.

“Everything is agreed for Luisao for an additional two years on his contract,” club president Luis Filipe Vieira said.
