Luiz set to leave Arsenal

David Luiz could be set to leave Arsenal this summer with the Brazilian reportedly being out of a contract in the next few months, according to a recent report from Sky Sports.

Initially, the thought was that the deal that brought him to North London was a two-year contract – but it terms out that it was only for a one-year stay.

Luiz is determined to try and stay at the Emirates, but the club have yet to re-enter negotiations with him over the details. Given the excess problems that every club in English football is enduring, Arsenal may have other priorities on their mind right now.

David has spoken to those close with him, informing them that he wants to remain in the Premier League. Whether or not he’ll be able to enjoy the same kind of success he did during his days at Stamford Bridge, though, is a different matter.
