Romelu Lukaku was left out of the Chelsea squad which faced Liverpool on Sunday after he gave an interview to Sky Italy in which he said he was unhappy at the club and hoped to return to Inter Milan.
However, following a conversation with manager Thomas Tuchel and club representatives, it seems he’s set to be back in contention for the upcoming crunch matches – the Carabao Cup semifinal double feature against Tottenham Hotspur with the third round of the FA Cup against Chesterfield squeezed in between, followed by what’s likely to be the match of the season as they face Premier League runaway leaders and defending champions Manchester City at the Etihad.
