Lukaku set for Chelsea return

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan will not re-sign Romelu Lukaku on loan for another year.

Instead, the belief is that the Italian giants will send him back to Chelsea during the summer transfer window.

Lukaku, as we know, has found things to be a bit easier in Serie A than he has in the Premier League across the last few years. With that being said, he’s only scored three goals in 18 appearances in the league this season, leaving many to wonder what the future has in store for the Belgian.

As he prepares to turn 30 next month, it feels like silverware is going to be the big thing on his mind. He has a few trophies to his name but in the grand scheme of things, many will believe that he needs to do more to cement his legacy beyond the Serie A title.

Chelsea, meanwhile, already seem to have enough problems on their plate.
