Lukaku set for new Everton deal

Talksport understands that Romelu Lukaku will sign a new contract with Everton in the summer.

The Belgium international’s future has been the subject of much speculation with his former club Chelsea strongly linked with a move to secure his services though the striker’s agent has said that he will remain on Merseyside beyond the summer.

Lukaku moved to Goodison Park, initially on loan in the summer of 2013 and has since racked up over one hundred and fifty appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring seventy-eight goals in total.

Prior to his switch to the Toffees he had a successful season long loan at West Bromwich Albion while he began his career at Anderlecht.

Internationally, the twenty-three year old has fifty-four caps for his country, scoring nineteen goals and featured for them at both the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil and last summer’s European Championships in France.
