Koln forward Lukas Podolski has failed to rule out a summer move away from the club, amidst speculations linking him with a host of Premiership sides.
The Germany international admits to feeling happy in his hometown, but it is highly unlikely that he will remain at Koln should the Billy Goats get relegated at the end of the season.
Following the three-match losing run, Koln sit just three points above the relegation zone.
The Germany international believes he has what it takes to succeed at the highest level.
“Being at Koln does me good. It’s my club, it my town,” Podolski told Bild.
“If it’s up to me, I’ll still be here next season. Where I’d go if I opted to leave after all?
Without wanting to sound arrogant, I could succeed at a big European club, in England or Spain.”
