Luton Town are interested in signing Kyle Bartley from West Bromwich Albion in the January transfer window, according to The Telegraph. The report has claimed that Luton head coach Rob Edwards is looking for a new defender in the middle of the season, and that he has identified Bartley as a potential target.
Bartley has been on the books of West Brom since 2018 and is one of the best defenders in the Championship. The former Arsenal and Swansea City player has made 51 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career, scoring three goals, providing one assist and keeping give clean sheets in the process.
Luton are third from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with 16 points from 20 matches, a point behind 17th-placed Everton, who have played 21 games. Meanwhile, West Bromwich Albion are currently fifth in the Championship table with 45 points from 28 games.
