Twente striker Luuk de Jong has added fuel to speculations linking him with a summer exit from Enschede by admitting he would consider any offer that arrives at the end of the season.
The Dutch international is followed by a number of top European clubs and the Tukkers appear to be ready to cash in on their most prized asset.
Team’s poor finish of the season and failure to ensure Champions League football could push the 21-year-old towards the exit door and the player explains he is prepared to leave the club for greener pastures.
“I’m certainly not necessarily gone, but if something interesting comes up, I will either go there or I’ll be having a think about it”, the youngster told De Telegraaf.
The highly rated forward believes he is ready to make the next step in his career and join a high-profile European club.
“I feel ready to take the next step, to do well when the opportunity arises, because I’ve developed well.
“Some opportunities should be grabbed when they come.”
The player, who scored 25 goals in 33 Eredivisie games this season, has two years left on his deal at De Grolsch Veste and is valued at €15 million.
