Lyon are set to wrap up the signing of Tunisian winger Wahbi Khazri from Bastia, L’Equipe reports.
Les Gones are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements seeing that they recently stayed without Lisandro Lopez.
With Alexandre Lacazette impressing in centre forward role, Lyon have made signing a right-sided attacker their number one priority.
According to L’Equipe, les Gones have already opened talks with Bastia for Wahbi Khazri and are reportedly on the verge of reaching an agreement.
The Tunisian midfielder has been linked with Saint Etienne and Roma this summer, but everything suggests he will end up at Stade Gerland instead.
Khazri has spent his entire career at Bastia, making 142 league appearances and scoring 26 goals, but he was especially impressive in club’s first season upon their return to the top flight.
The talented footballer managed 7 goals in 8 assists in 29 Ligue 1 fixtures, catching the eye of some top European clubs in the process.
