Lyon have bid for Colorado Rapids defender Moise Bombito

Lyon are interested in signing Moise Bombito from the Colorado Rapids in the summer transfer window, according to The Athletic. The report has claimed that the Ligue 1 club are very keen on securing the services of the central defender and have already made a bid.

The Athletic has claimed that Lyon and the Rapids are now in talks over a potential deal for Bombito. The Major League  Soccer club are likely to demand over $2 million in transfer fees for the 24-year-old Canada international, who is on international duty at the 2024 Copa America at the moment.

Bombito made 15 starts and one substitute appearance for the Rapids in Major League Soccer in 2024. He scored two goals in those games. In 2023, the 24-year-old Canada international central defender made eight starts and three substitute appearances in MLS. Lyon finished sixth in the Ligue 1 table last season with 53 points from 34 games.
