(GSM) – Olympique Lyon seem to have lost touch with the top of the French Ligue 1 following a 1-1 draw with Lille on Sunday.

Lyon began the day in shared second place while sixth-placed Lille looked to win this game in order to pressurize the top five.

Lille were on their way to achieving just that when Pierre Frau put the visitors ahead on 62 minutes, but Lyon’s Cris levelled the score nine minutes later.

A minute earlier, Lille had Ricardo Costa sent off with a second yellow card. Lyon would finish the match with ten as well though as Maxime Gonalons was given his second booking nine minutes later.

Lille drop to third place at four points from leaders Marseille and two points behind Auxerre. Lille remain in sixth position.
