Lyon interested in Slimani

According to a recent report from Le10 Sport, Lyon have registered their interest in trying to sign Leicester forward Islam Slimani.

While he has had a few bright moments over the course of the last few years, the overwhelming belief is that Slimani’s future resides away from the King Power Stadium. A handful of clubs have invested in the idea of signing him as of late, and Lyon are the latest in a long line to do so. The Foxes themselves will clearly understand the position they’re in, but given the fact that Slimani is now 32, they may not be able to make the kind of profit on him that they would’ve been hoping for not so long ago.

Leicester have made a strong start to the new Premeir League season but even with that being the case, Slimani doesn’t appear to be a valid option for them moving forward.
