Jérémy Toulalan is “not worried” that he could find himself employed as an emergency right-back when Lyon face Barcelona in the second leg of their Champions League last 16 tie next week.

“The coach hasn’t spoken to me about it, but I did find myself at right-back during a training session,” said the 25-year-old French international, who could find himself face-to-face with Les Bleus team-mate Thierry Henry at the Camp Nou. “If I have to play at right-back, I won’t be worried, but it has only happened to me rarely.

“In the second-half against Lithuania in Nantes, but I wasn’t really defending. And at the end of the league match with Le Havre, I played in that position, but again I wasn’t really playing as a real full-back.”
