French giants Lyon seem ready to challenge Ligue 1 rivals Monaco for the signature of Anderlecht hotshot Youri Tielemans, according to L’Equipe.
The 19-year-old is widely expected to leave for greener pastures after yet another impressive season and France could be his next destination.
While Monaco recently showed interest in Tielemans, it is now Lyon’s turn to launch an assault on the Belgian midfielder.
Les Gones are almost certain to cash in on Corentin Tolisso at the end of the season and they see the Anderlecht star as a good long-term replacement.
Anderlecht reportedly want €25 million for their prized asset who has over three years left on his current contract.
The attacking midfielder has been in excellent form this season, producing 18 goals and 11 assists in 43 competitive outings, and everything suggests he will join a top European club at the end of the season.
