French giants Lyon have joined the chase for Manchester City striker John Guidetti, L’Equipe can reveal.
The talented forward will be out of contract at the end of the season, and he will have no shortage of offers in the summer transfer window.
According to L’Equipe, Lyon are hot on the trail of the 23-year-old footballer as they want him to provide competition for Alexandre Lacazette up front.
John Guidetti has enjoyed a very successful loan spell at Celtic, having managed 15 goals and 12 assists in 35 competitive outings for the Bhoys.
The Sweden international is currently considering his options, but it is clear he will not be extending his stay at the Etihad.
Lyon have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Jeremy Morel from Marseille, while they are also showing interest in Morgan Sanson and Thomas Lemar.
Meanwhile, Yoann Gourcuff has revealed he will be leaving, while few more first team players could follow.
