Olympique Lyon have made an inquiry into the availability of Toulouse midfielder Moussa Sissoko, L’Equipe reports.
Les Gones are desperate to add some quality to the midfield area and they see the France international as a perfect addition to the side.
Club’s sporting director Bernand Lacombe has already contacted the player’s representatives after being informed that Toulouse president Olivier Sadran is willing to sell his most prized asset if the right offer comes along.
The combative midfielder has two more years left on his contract with Toulouse, and Sadran is reportedly willing to do business for around €15 million.
Combing battling approach with an impressive technique, Moussa Sissoko has become one of the best midfielder in Ligue 1 and he has already been linked with a host of top European sides including Manchester United and Manchester City.
The player has recently hinted that he is looking to play Champions League football next season and that is something that Lyon will be able to offer.
With other interested sides yet to make formal approach for the 22-year-old, Lyon look like the favourites for his signature.
