Lyon set £61m Ndombele price tag

According to L’Equipe, Lyon have set a price tag of £61 million for superstar Tanguy Ndombele. The 22 year old is believed to be a big target for many major clubs around Europe with Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City standing out above the rest as the primary teams in the race.

The youngster signed from Amiens earlier this year and while many would’ve been viewing his tenure at Lyon as nothing more than a stop on the road, the club themselves seem determined to keep hold of him beyond just this season. Lyon are currently in 4th in Ligue 1, and after a few mediocre seasons, it seems like they’re starting to rise back up through the ranks of European football.

Ndombele is considered to be a big part of that, and with the price tag they’re planning on setting, it certainly feels like they’ve got a good chance of keeping hold of the Frenchman.
