The deal was announced on club’s official website after the two sides reached an agreement over a loan deal with an option to buy.
Solet initially joins on loan until the end of the season, with Laval earning €550,000, while they will earn as much if Lyon decide to buy the player outright.
On top of that, Laval could pocket another €2 million based on various performances related bonus and they are also entitled to 20% of the future transfer fee.
The 17-year-old made 12 league appearances for Laval this term, while he represented France at the Under-17 World Cup in India back in October, making three starts.
