Federico Macheda has agreed to join Sampdoria on loan until the end of the season and he admits he is excited by the new challenge.
The 19-year-old reveals he is happy with a move and that he plans to join his new teammates in the next couple of days.
“There are still a couple of faxes but sometime between Wednesday and Thursday I will be in Italy. Genoa is a beautiful city and I am happy.”
The Italian is hoping to gain much needed experience at Sampdoria.
“I am only playing 10-20 minute spells in games currently and that is not helping my growth. Ferguson is of the same opinion.
”In this regard, we are all happy because in six months’ time, Manchester United will get a stronger player.”
