MaClaren to face tough time at Arsenal

Steve MaClaren can be guaranteed an interesting welcome on his return to England tonight when he brings his FC Twente side to The Emirates to take on Arsenal. 2-0 down from the first leg the task would seem to be an impossible one even for a good manager (Joke from a bitter England fan!)

Arsenal fans may have more presing things to worry them than to jeer the former England boss, but I’m sure they’ll find time to remind him of his inglorious past. Let’s hope for his sake that it doesn’t rain! The tabloid headlines about ‘The wally with the brolly’ were very cruel.

Arsenal are likely to have Cesc Fabregas back but unlikely new signing Mikael Silvestre will be unavailable through injury. Philippe Senderos won’t feature as he is likely to join AC Milan and Abou Diaby (thigh), Amaury Bischoff (groin), Tomas Rosicky (hamstring) and striker Eduardo (leg) remain out.

FC Twente are without suspended striker Blaise N’Kufo and fellow forward Marko Arnautovic is sidelined through injury.
