Sevilla midfielder Hedwiges Maduro could be the subject of a January bid from Real Sociedad, reports Estadio Deportivo.
The 28-year-old has found himself on the fringes at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and he wasn’t even considered for any of the matches this season.
He is, therefore, desperate to leave the club in the winter transfer window and it is highly unlikely los Rojiblancos will stand in his way.
According to Estadio Deportivo, Real Sociedad have been showing interest in the Dutch footballer after Esteban Granero picked up a serious knee injury.
Maduro joined Sevilla from Valencia last summer and went on to feature in 26 La Liga matches for los Rojiblancos.
He was, however, frozen out of the squad this summer, and certainly won’t be in contention when Sevilla host Freiburg on Thursday.
After winning their opening Europa League fixture against Estoril, los Rojiblancos are 2/5 to see off the Germans as well.
