(GSM) – Schalke 04 face their fierce rivals Borussia Dortmund on Friday night.

Ahead of the Bundesliga cracker, Schalke boss Felix Magath warns his players for Dortmund’s strong team.

Third placed Schalke will be eager to pick up the three points to keep the pressure on league leaders Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern München. However, this won’t be an easy task considering the strength of fifth placed BVB.

“We’ll have to be 100 per cent focused. Having said that, I also want the game to be a fair one. I expect us to set about our task with passion, but without going over the top,” said Magath on the official Schalke website.

“Dortmund are a young team who look to force their opponents into mistakes by pressing in midfield. We mustn’t let them do that.

“What matters is not just getting the right result, but also the way it comes about. I expect us to go out there and force chances and then take them as well.

“I don’t know whether the absence of Lucas Barrios at Dortmund’s necessarily an advantage for us. It’s not something you can predict. In Nelson Valdez and Mohamed Zidan they have two more quick players in attack who are capable of causing a threat.”
