Maguire set to return to Leicester training

According to Sky Sports, Leicester City defender Harry Maguire is expected to return to training today after receiving an extended period of time off following England’s run to the World Cup semi-finals. The 25-year-old’s stock rose dramatically throughout the course of the tournament in Russia this summer, as he was pinpointed as one of the major highlights behind the Three Lions’ progression to the final four.

Alas, whilst many Leicester fans will be happy to see that he’s back in training, they’ll also know that a bid from Manchester United is said to be right around the corner. The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a move for Maguire throughout the majority of the summer transfer window, and if they can put in a substantial bid that meets the valuation that the Foxes have, then we could be seeing Harry Maguire moving to Old Trafford sooner rather than later.
