Leicester’s Harry Maguire is set to consider his options for the future after the World Cup in Russia this summer, the Mirror report.
The centre-back has been named Leiceter’s Player of the Season in his first year at the King Power Stadium following his £17million move from the relegated Hull City last summer. He made 44 appearances for the Foxes in all competitions in 2017/18 and hit the target twice.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has praised Maguire after the League Cup clash between their respective clubs, and there have also been links to Manchester United as Jose Mourinho seeks defensive reinforcements. But the Mirror report claims there are other top clubs apart from the Manchester duo monitoring any potential developments.
Maguire is a very strong player physically, excellent in the air standing 6’4″ tall, while boasting quite enough skill on the ball and agility for a central defender. For a reasonable fee, he would certainly be a valuable addition to most teams in the Premier League.
