Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez is keen on joining Manchester City on transfer deadline day, according to Sky Sports.
The Citizens plan to recruit the Algerian having lost Leroy Sane through injury, but the Foxes have so far been reluctant to sell.
Desperate to finally join a top club, Mahrez is believed to have handed in a transfer request, annoying quite a few of his teammates in the process.
Leicester City players were disappointed to see the Algerian miss today’s training session and make himself unavailable for the clash against Everton, where the Foxes are 15/8 to claim maximum points.
Manchester City are reported to have made a £55 million proposal for Mahrez and they are expected to land the highly rated winger by the end of the day.
