The agent of Inter full-back Douglas Maicon has confirmed reports that his client could be leaving Giuseppe Meazza this summer.
The highly rated defender was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid last summer, but he eventually opted to stay with the Neroazzurri.
However, after spending last six years at Inter, it appears he is now ready to move on.
Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are thought to be interested, and the player’s representative admits Maicon could leave at the end of the season.
“Maicon has had a beautiful love story with Inter that has lasted a long time,” agent Roberto Calenda told Sky Sport Italia.
“But like any love story at some point it may come to an end. There are several offers but we will evaluate them.”
Maicon joined Inter from Monaco in 2006 and quickly developed into a key player for the Neroazzurri.
During the next six years the Brazilian made 177 Serie A appearances, scoring no less than 16 goals in the process.
The 30-year-old featured in 24 league games last term and managed to score two goals.
