Maicon’s agent denies PSG contact

The agent of Inter full-back Maicon has denied reports that his client is set for a January move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Brazilian was recently linked with a move to PSG, but his client reveals that Maicon is perfectly happy at Inter.

“I want to assure all of the Nerazzurri fans,” the player’s agent Roberto Calenda told Sky Sport Italia.

“Maicon is and will continue to be an Inter player as he wants to win more honours in this jersey.

“I can categorically exclude any transfer negotiations with any clubs, there is no contact with Paris SG or with anyone else.

“I can understand that Maicon is a player who is wanted by some very big teams, but he’s already at a great club.

“He’s happy at Inter and he wants this marriage to continue.”
