Maitland-Niles heading for West Brom

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, West Bromwich Albion are set to sign Arsenal’s Ainsley Maitland-Niles on loan for the rest of the season.

While it had previously been reported that the deal was unlikely to go through, Maitland-Niles is now set to complete a medical in London within the next few hours as the race to get this done before the window shuts continues.

The last few days have been very telling when it comes to the future of Maitland-Niles with many believing it’d just be a matter of time before he signed on the dotted line for someone. Now, just a few months after the Baggies’ Black Country rivals Wolves nearly signed him, AMN is apparently going to be making his way over to The Hawthorns where he will attempt to steer them away from what looks likely to be a tough relegation battle in the coming months.
