According to a recent report from Daily Mirror, Manchester United and Arsenal are both distancing themselves from a deal involving Ainsley Maitland-Niles.
The popular youngster is considered to be one of the Gunners’ brightest talents but his inconsistency has left many wondering whether or not a move away from the Emirates is the best move for him. Wolverhampton Wanderers were said to be interested once upon a time but recently, United have been the ones in the mix.
It now doesn’t look like that’s going to happen with MEN even reporting that the Red Devils are moving on from the idea.
Maitland-Niles is going to have a bright future ahead of him regardless of where he ends up, but the big question that remains is whether or not manager Mikel Arteta views him as someone that can be a force in his side’s first team over the next few years.
