Malaga are showing interest in Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara, according to El Mundo Deportivo.
The Spanish newspaper reports that Malaga owner sheikh Abdulah Al-Thani has been largely impressed by the young midfielder and he has instructed club officials to try and bring the player to La Rosaleda.
Los Boquerones are on the verge of clinching the final Champions League berth in La Liga and they plan to reinforce their squad with six new players.
Barcelona midfielder Thiago is their number one target at the moment and they will try everything to prize him away from Camp Nou.
Malaga already tried to sign the player in January, but the Catalans were not interested in doing the deal.
Los Boquerones are now ready to return for the highly rated midfielder and they believe Barcelona would not be able to refuse a big money offer.
El Mundo Deportivo claims Malaga are ready to offer up to €30 million for the 21-year-old.
