Malaga set to sign Jeremy Toulalan

Malaga have reached an agreement to sign midfielder Jeremy Toulalan from Lyon, according to AS.

Just a couple of days after Ruud van Nistelrooy was officially presented as new Malaga player, the club are set to complete the second big name signing of the transfer window.

The two clubs have already agreed the transfer fee, which is thought to be around €10 million.

After Lyon gave the player permission to discuss personal terms, the French international yesterday arrived to Malaga and he ix expected to sign a long-term deal later today.

The 27-year-old midfielder has been a key player for both Lyon and France national team over the last few years and there is no doubt he would be a great signing for the La Liga side.

Sheikh Abdulah Al-Thani’s ambitious project is already starting to produce the first results, with captures of Van Nistelrooy and Toulalan proving that Malaga are on the road to become a genuine top table side.
