Malaga in talks for Bojan

Spanish daily newspaper AS understands that Malaga hope to sign Spanish forward Bojan Krkic from Barcelona.

The talented footballer returned to Camp Nou as Ajax opted against extending his loan deal for another season, but everything suggests he will not be staying in Catalunya for much longer.

Barcelona officials are not interested in keeping Bojan and with his current deal due to expire in a year’s time, they plan to finally cash in on his services.

According to AS, Malaga aim to take advantage of the situation and lure him to La Rosaleda as boss Luis Garcia hopes to pair Krkic with Roque Santa Cruz up front.

The same source has suggested the initial contact has been established, meaning the 23-year-old could soon join los Boquerones.

Bojan Krkic has spent last three seasons on loan with AS Roma, AC Milan and Ajax respectively, but he hasn’t quite managed to prove his worth just yet.
