The Independent claims that Liverpool will require around £25 million if they are to cash in on centre-back Mamadou Sakho.
The Frenchman has managed to resurrect his career during the loan spell at Selhurst Park, and Crystal Palace now aim to push for a permanent transfer.
However, it seems that Liverpool’s asking price could be as high as £25 million due to the heavy interest in Sakho’s services.
Namely, a number of Premier League sides are weighing up summer move for the 27-year-old footballer, who has so far made four league appearances for the Eagles.
The interesting thing is that Crystal Palace won each of those games, conceding just one goal in the process and even defeating leaders Chelsea on the road.
Liverpool could really use having Mamadou Sakho available for selection given their porous back line, but manager Jurgen Klopp has no intention of backing out on his decision to get rid of the Frenchman.
