Crystal Palace defender Mamadou Sakho could be on his way back to France this summer with Ligue 1 giants Lyon said to be interested in acquiring his services.
Lyon crossed the finish line as third in the French top flight and will be looking to bolster their defensive line ahead of the 2018/19 season.
The club manager Jean-Michele Aulas has reportedly already compiled a list of potential transfer targets with two names currently honing their talents in the Premier League.
The first player linked with a Lyon move is Manchester City owned defender Eliaquim Mangala who spent the 2017/18 campaign on loan at Everton. He did not get much playing time at Goodison in 2018 due to a knee injury which could see Lyon turn their interest to London.
According to increasing reports coming from England, Lyon are also looking at Crystal Palace defender Mamadou Sakho.
The 28-year-old centre-back managed to get his career back on track following his Liverpool disappointment and Les Gones are said to be impressed with his performances during the recently closed campaign.
Sakho made 20 first-team appearances for the Eagles, scoring one goal and setting up two assists along the way.
