Man City and Juventus to confirm Danilo-Cancelo swap

Manchester City have been quiet for most of the transfer window, but they are now close to adding another piece to their star studded team, as they are about to start the campaign in which they want the hat-trick of Premier League titles. According to various media sources, they are about to confirm the signing of Joao Cancelo from Juventus.

But this is not just a regular deal, but rather a swap between the two clubs. Manchester City will be sending €30m to Turin for the Portuguese full-back, but also Danilo. The deal is expected to be completed today, as Juventus will get the money they need after spending heavily on Cristiano Ronaldo and Matthijs De Ligt, but they will also get Danilo, who is also a right-back.

Media reports from both Italy and England are certain this deal will be concluded and Cancelo will become Pep Guardiola’s fourth signing of the summer.
