Il Corriere dello Sport has learned that both Manchester rivals have had bids rejected for Inter Milan stopper Milan Skriniar.
The two clubs reportedly offered close to €60 million for the Slovakian centre-back, but saw their proposals turned down.
Even though the Nerazzurri need to raise €40 million by 30th June to avoid FIFA Financial Fair Play sanctions, they have no intention of selling one of their most prized possessions.
Skriniar has largely impressed since joining the club from Sampdoria a year ago, spending every single minute on the pitch in the 2017/2018 Serie A campaign and scoring 8 goals.
The 23-year-old has been linked with quite a few top clubs of late, but he seems happy to remain at Stadio San Siro for the time being.
