Man City and PSG battle for Guerreiro
Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are among clubs showing interest in Lorient full-back Raphael Guerreiro, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The French-born footballer has enjoyed a brilliant start to the new season and his impressive performances did not go unnoticed.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Genoa are all keeping close tabs on the 20-year-old.
Guerreiro is essentially a left-back, but he has been used as a left-sided midfielder at Lorient, and currently has three goals in 15 Ligue 1 outings this term.
The youngster was handed his Portugal debut in a Euro 2016 qualifier against Armenia before scoring the only goal in a friendly win over France.
And with Lorient confirming their plans to cash in on Guerreiro in January, few more top sides are expected to join the chase.
Klose coy on exit talk
Lazio striker Miroslav Klose admits he is considering his options at Stadio Olimpico amidst speculations linking him with a summer exit.
The veteran forward has a contract until the end of the season with the Biancocelesti, although both parties have the option to extend it for another year.
And with Klose falling behind summer recruit Filip Djordjevic in the pecking order, it appears he is thinking about leaving Lazio.
Asked about the transfer talk by Bild, Klose replied: “Everything is conceivable, nothing is impossible in football.”
The 36-year-old has only started four league fixtures this term while making another seven substitute appearances, scoring three goals in the process.
He is set to hold talks with club officials regarding his future and there is a chance that he could be leaving as early as January.
Evian confirm Wass set for summer exit
Evian coach Pascal Dupraz has moved to confirm that star player Daniel Wass will be leaving les Roses in the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old has caught the eye of top European clubs with his impressive displays in French Ligue 1 and he has spoken of his desire to realise a big club move.
Evian will be clearly powerless to resist numerous offers next summer and coach Pascal Dupraz admits Wass is set to quit les Roses.
“Eventually, on 30th June, he will exercise his talent elsewhere and we invite big clubs to show their interest in the player,” Dupraz told Le Figaro.
Despite starting his career as a right-back, Wass was mostly used as a right winger at Evian, so no wonder he has already bagged 6 goals in 13 league matches this season.
The highly rated footballer has, however, struggled to prove his worth in the national team and has yet to play for Denmark in the Euro 2016 qualifiers.
