Man City, Bayern keen on Willem Geubbels

European powerhouses Manchester City and Bayern Munich are hot on the trail of Lyon starlet Willem Geubbels, according to Radio Monte Carlo.

The 16-year-old is widely regarded as one of club’s hottest prospects, but he has yet to sign his first professional contract.

This is why Manchester City and Bayern Munich have already submitted their proposals, but Lyon chiefs are not worried about losing their talented footballer.

Geubbels is already training with the senior squad and he was handed his Ligue 1 debut in September, which is why les Gones are convinced he will choose to stay at Parc OL.

The club officials are in constant contact with the player’s parents and the youngster is aware that talented footballers are more likely to secure regular playing time at Lyon than at most top European clubs.
